In the spirit of learning, we, the Academic Resource Center tutors and staff, invite all Massasoit Community College students to join the ARC community in the pursuit of self-discovery and academic inquiry. We strive to validate and dignify all people by encouraging them to identify their goals and develop strategies in order to become successful, independent, life-long learners. We are committed to creating a climate which promotes academic integrity and embraces diversity.
The Academic Resource Center (The ARC) offers a full range of tutoring and academic support services. Individual and small group tutoring sessions are available on a walk-in basis and by appointment for mathematics, science, accounting, and computer programming. The Academic Resource Center also houses The Writing Center, which provides tutoring for writing, reading, and language acquisition. Peer, professional, and faculty tutors work together to help students become effective, independent learners.
