We offer a variety of non-credit training programs and courses, as well as offerings for personal enrichment, adult basic education , and children. Many courses are approved to offer professional continuing education hours, and we offer several industry specific certificates.

In Workforce Development and Community Education highlights our up-coming programs and course offerings - whether a new Marine Technician Program, a workforce breakfast, or the opening of summer camp. Corporate, business, and organizational training is provided through the Professional Development Center (PDC), which has training locations on both the Canton and Brockton campuses. Browse the current list of trainings available to companies in Management, Software, Health, Languages, and Technical Areas to develop ideas about the type of custom-designed training you'd like created for your company - your site or ours!
The Community Education Department offers non-credit evening and weekend courses in work-related training, as well as in personal interest areas. Training for new careers in business, technology, computers, health, and languages is available, as well as personal interest courses for fun, enrichment, and relaxation in art, recreation, fitness, crafts, and travel. Adult Basic Education programs give adults the English language and mathematics skills needed to gain a GED diploma, enter college, or to advance in careers. The Stoughton Adult Basic Education Program offers free ESOL classes evenings at Stoughton High School . GED Preparation Classes provide instruction in English and Mathematics focused on preparation for taking and passing the GED assessment. Transitional ESL classes prepare basic education students for further study and college.
IT'S NEVER TOO LATE TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL!
The new College Transitions Program is designed to provide individual support to help students make the transition to college-level work during their first year. This is a Program funded by a Grant from the MA Department of Education, and classes are provided free to eligible students. |
