This course will provide students 55+ with gentle stretching and breathing techniques. These series of poses (asana) can be done on a chair or on a mat. These poses stretch the muscles in the body while increasing flexibility in the joints. Yoga creates relaxation, pain relief and easing of depression and anxiety and improving the quality of life.

About Our Instructor:
Susan Andrea is an experienced Yoga teacher with over 500 hours of certifications in Yoga. She teaches mat and chair yoga to diverse populations in all age groups. She holds certifications in different yoga practices including Hatha yoga and Yin yoga. Additional certifications include Reiki, Shambala and Qigong. She enjoys bringing accessible yoga to the public as a health and spiritual practice and guides her students of all levels with grace, warmth and humor.
